2008 draws to a close in a few hours. to be honest i am in no celebratory mood to welcome the new year because off all the work and everything. but there is one thing that i would like to do and i've challenged myself to look at it seriously, that it is no simple exercise to be done with little effort.

this shall be done in parts. for a start, i shall list out what i have in my mind:

Materialistic thoughts

1. To earn $2000 in extra money by March. (I'm $500 up, for now)
2. MacBook
3. Make the book sales happen
4. 2 set of clothes for the new year, and 1 extra top every month ($70 bucks)

Must-dos

1. Never be late for work more than twice a month
2. Chart out a life plan for the next 4 years, and if possible, the next 10 years beyond.


Want-to-dos

1. Bartending
2. Onsen

I'm out of time for now. We shall sit down together the next time we meet, and have a really good discussion about this.

I think you've just cemented my my choice of course of study. I'll go to London, to create a sizable distance between us.

When one does things differently from the way he was told, he's 'having his own opinion of how to get the task done.' But when one repeatedly refuses to do what he was told, that's being 'incorrigible'. I think I'm better off being the former than the latter.

I just cannot imagine how splendidly you succeeded in misunderstanding your son after all these while.
